The bright side: It's been a slow day. I've been able to fully stock all the rooms, fill anything that needs filled, and otherwise make the work environment a good one.

The not-so-bright side: It's been a slow day. After having done all of the above, and having no clients currently, I'm somewhat restless and bored.

The thing that tips the scales: Yummy homemade Belgian waffles and fresh-squeezed orange juice for breakfast, provided by the owner.

Also something to look forward to: Tingly-making internet chat and erotic writing. You know who you are. ;)

OK, I got this in my email a while back from my friend Frog. (Keep in mind that I adore Frog LOTS.) I'm not trying to promote this. I'm thinking that it's basically saying, we've fucked up a lot in the past, and therefore, that makes this fuckup all right. I certainly do agree that our troops should be honored, applauded, and "have jobs" and such. Anyway, as always, anyone can comment and say anything you like, and I'm not going to interfere (unless asked to, as has happened in the recent past). But keep in mind that if you plan to make a comment about how horrible and misinformed a person I must be to write this, post it, or believe it, you might consider not wasting your finger muscles. However, if anyone wants to use this as a battleground area, knock yourself out. I'm posting it pretty much 'cause I mostly get the preaching to the choir kinda emails about how horrible the war is, and that's what most of my friends are saying, too. But I thought it might be interesting to throw the other half of the argument out there.

Now Then...

OK, I've dealt with my main inbox, did the LJ thing, and I think I need some time in my room for a while. Can't decide if I'm going to read or watch TV, but I'm just gonna veg for a bit.

I do have an "assignment" or two later, but I need to wind down from the work week to get in a good mindset for that. Plus, the City of Heroes/Villains thing is distracting, moreso than earplugs will help. Must relax. And then be on the computer till the wee hours of the morning, since I don't have to get up tomorrow for any reason! :)
