A couple more things about that dream that struck me, and I forgot to write them down when I made the first post.
The basement of the house I was in reminded me a great deal of the basement of my first apartment, that Leo and I lived in together. Eventually, other people moved in with us, and lived in our basement, and it had that same kinda feel. Also, the people in that room were mostly Illinois people, even if I was thinking of Atlanta people.
I don't know if it had that feel in the dream itself, but as I was writing, I kept getting flashes of this house I sometimes dream of (the one in
blyssmouse's book) that always feels very significant to me. Like it's for sure the house that represents myself, as most people say houses in dreams do. But this house was very different from that one. Much smaller. Certainly not with the same sinister feel to it, and certainly not with all the secret passages and hidden rooms and very haunted feel. Although, if it IS that same house, that highly-representative-of-self house, it's certainly encouraging. Don't know what the deal is with the connecting house, though. Could be the old house? Could be a section I'm not willing to move into yet? Is the woman me?
I notice that boundaries in this dream were blurred at best. Lots of no walls, inside blending into outside and such.
