This is a good thing, because, after groceries, there wasn't enough. We do, however, have groceries, and this is a good thing, too.
I've felt mostly OK, today, if I take it easy. I got the bright idea to watch some DVR stuff (Desperate Crossing: The Untold Story of the Mayflower - OMGLONG!), and doing something useful during the commercials, rather than just fast-forwarding through them. I figured this would have me doing small things in a short amount of time, with a decent amount of rest in between. This worked out pretty well. I got garbage, dishes, some general cleaning, put away the groceries, etc..
Then, since I had specifically been waiting for the purchase of vacuum cleaner bags, which was part of said grocery shopping, I got the bright idea to vacuum.
Can we say asthma attack, boys and girls?
I mean a really bad one. Worse than I'd had in a long time. Of course, I'm out of albuterol, which is the really fast-action stuff, so had to make do with the Q-Var, which was touted as being both a fast-acting and a long-term product. Believe me, it's got nothing on albuterol. In between gasping for air, I got the Beastie to make me some coffee, which also helps, and by the time I was sipping the second cup, one of the two remedies was kicking in. OK, so no vacuuming. *sigh* The house really needs it, too.
So, anyway, I got quite a bit done today, but not as much as I wanted. Anything, however, is an improvement. I called off David's again tonight, so as not to push myself too hard. This was before the asthma attack, so now I'm doubly glad I did so. I figure one more night of rest after not feeling too terribly bad and not too terribly well will allow me to work tomorrow without problems. That's my plan, anyway.
I am now going to go and upload new icons (which have been already made, in waiting for just such an occassion), and will probably make some gratuitous posts to show them off.
