1. When I was little, a cat bit me hard enough to draw blood. For years, I really didn't like, and was somewhat afraid of, cats.
Definitely not true. I was actually bitten once by a dog hard enough to draw blood, but what I took from that is that one shouldn't try to pet a dog in a car, since they would likely feel territorial about that small space... not sure how old I was. I never mentioned it to anyone (except my cousin, who was with me when it happened) because I'd been told on numerous occassions not to pet strange animals. So, after that, I didn't - if they were in cars. It didn't diminish my love for dogs or other animals one bit. :)

2. My senior year in college, I thought I had enough credits to take almost no classes, so I didn't. Unfortunately, this resulted in a last minute scramble, in which I had to take a proficiency test in an easy class, to get my last *1* credit hour and graduate!
Also not true. I did, in fact, need very few credits my senior year to graduate, and my last semester, I took only one class (with two parts) to graduate. I had a 4-day weekend, a car, and lived only 3 hours from home. Life was good.

3. My first husband and I used to play card games as foreplay. Whoever lost (best 3 of 5) went down on the other. (Hey, everyone's a winner!)
Not true, but certainly sounds like something we'd do. Usually, we didn't need an excuse for sex. :)

4. My somewhat-prudish mother used to always tell me, with a faraway look in her eyes, to marry an Italian. I was too young to have any clue why she would suggest that.
Not even CLOSE to being true.

5. A few months ago, driving on 400, I saw some sort of zoo/circus truck thingy, with a really tall trailer - I could just barely see the giraffe inside!
Not true, either... but it made me wonder, just what DO they transport giraffes in?

6. When I was in high school, I went to a mall, and there was thing travelling show thing, where they'd let you hold exotic animals and get your picture taken. I got to hold a lion cub and a tiger cub. I still have the pictures!
True, as userinfoSpy_Isis guessed. Now, I kinda feel bad, and wonder how the animals were treated, and such. But it was a cool experience for me, and they were so CUTE!!!

That's a good question.

In cartoons, it's always on trains, but even trains have to go through tunnels sometimes. Maybe they walk the giraffe off, take the giraffe on the road until on the other side of the tunnel, and put the giraffe back on the train. But that seems a lot of work.

The road would also have the tunne problem anyway.

Maybe the giraffes are airlifted.

Or...or...or maybe they've perfected shrinking technology and haven't told us yet!

OMG, that's great! Although I like the shrinking theory.... ;)
