bookofmirrorsI have to leave for my insane work weekend in just a couple of minutes, but wanted to say a couple of things. :)
Got my physical yesterday. The results of the bloodwork will be back next week, right about the time![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
blckwngdorcl has his physical, so that's cool. I found out I've lost 20 pounds since the last time I stepped on a scale. When you weigh twice what you're supposed to, this is a drop in the bucket, but hey, I'm all good with drops. I don't know if this is a result of having no time to eat, having little money to buy food with, or doing the vegetarian thing. Most likely a result of all of the above. My blood pressure was a tad high, which is very unusual for me, but I'll have 'em recheck it when I go back. I'm sure it was just a fluke.
Went to get waxed. Not a horrible experience. I'm very picky about waxing, and will probably be going to someone else next time. My underarms are in PAIN, and very red, which I've never had happen before. My legs aren't as smooth as I've had them in the past.
And, ::SIGH::, apparently what I call a bikini wax, they call a Brazilian wax, and they don't do those. So, my MAIN objective for getting waxed never got done. They gave me the name of a place that did do it, so I'll follow up on that when I get a chance.
I wanted to make a post yesterday, which seemed appropriate for Beltane, but never got the chance. It's a long overdue post, too. So, I'll just leave a tidbit for now, and I'll try to get back to the subject on Monday.
I've finally met a woman that I love, respect, and admire, and who doesn't elicit my usual semi-subconscious reaction of not trusting women (due to my issues with my mother). There is also some mutual sexual attraction, which brings up all sorts of other issues. I'm a little bit afraid, but also very much not afraid. It just FEELS right. Not sure where it's gonna go, but happy to be along for the ride. In the meantime, I have a most wonderful friend. :)
