Help, Please?

Hey, Savage_Rose, what's the homeopathy for cats in pain? One of ours is limping unexplainedly, and we want to keep him as comfortable as possible until we can get him to the vet in the morning when they open.

Ideas?

EDIT: Have used arnica per my therapist/teacher's suggestion. Still open for ideas, though.

I think Arnica is a great remedy for acute pain, particularly if you think it's possible there has been some trauma. In order to really find the best remedy, you would need much more specific information that just limping due to unexplained pain, but sometimes that's all we have to go on with our pets.

Hope kitty feels better soon and hope you don't mind my jumping in with an opinion. :)

I am flattered that you think I'd know! Unfortunately, that's not an issue I've had, and in my current state of chaos I don't know where my books are :/

The arnica sounds like a good idea, and a little pain in this case might be a good thing--if something's been pulled, the kitty doesn't need to be getting too active.
