To quote myself: If I was gonna break a bone, it should have at least been exciting, or drama-filled, or something. Hell, I didn't even notice when this happened. How boring.

I also made this same comment when telling people about it.

What a fucking idiot.

So, the three of us go out to R. Thomas this morning (er, afternoon) for breakfast, and I see the Aquarious in one of those put-a-quarter-in-it-and-open-the-door-and-pull-out-the-newspaper machines like they have on street corners. (Except, of course, since it's free, there were no quarters required.) Anyway, somehow, in the process of trying to get the paper out, the door snaps shut on my left pinky finger.

Um. Just fucking OW.

So, OK, no x-ray to back it up, but my professional opinion is that it is, in fact, broken. All the usual symptoms, much reduced by use of arnica, as directed by Pam, my therapist/teacher, who's used homeopathy for years. I'm going to Resurgens tomorrow, so I'll see about getting proof, but, in the meantime, I had the noticable drama-filled break I practically begged the Universe for.

Did I mention I'm a fucking idiot?

That's awful, but kind of funny too. I know it's not for you, but the way you explained it was almost comical. I really am sorry. Maybe it's just beat up or something. It's weird if my friend and I talk about diahrrea, then we seem to end up getting it, but usually only if we have talked about it between us. I don't know how to explain it, but it has happened to us twice. We were talking on the phone about it, but we both lived in seperate states at the time and we both ended up with it. She would say she had it or I would say I had it and then the other would get it, so we don't discuss viruses and such when were on the phone. If one of us brings it up, the other reminds that one to let's not talk about it or we'll get it. It's funny. I was singing the diahrrea song one day too and got it the next day. I'm sure I was singing it because I had heard someone else had it and it was probably something going around, so I ended up with it. Sometimes when people are very tired or troubled by something else, they tend to be more accident prone, so maybe that's what happened to you, or I'm sure it was just something that happened.
