No Good Reason
Apr. 27th, 2008 12:53 pmLong time no post. Nothing really to post today, either. Nothing new, except for some fabulous stuff that happened during my most recent animal communication/shamanic healing class, but that I'm not in the mood to write down. It would seem that getting the healing is easier than incorporating it into one's life. Plus, silly me, I didn't ask for healing in my personal life, only my professional life, and that lack became VERY obvious almost as soon as I got home. Bleh.
I did get to visit my family, which was cool. I look forward to getting to see them more often.
Tomorrow is the 7th anniversary of
BlckwngdOrcl's and my handfasting, which, as I worked out this morning, makes this officially the longest relationship I've ever been in. Hard at times, but worth it.
So, I've done little to nothing this weekend, quite by design, since I worked all last weekend on the house. Today I did some stuff around the house, but mostly I've relaxed. I need to make soup out of all the goodies I got at the DeKalb Farmers Market. My Vita-Mix does kick much ass in that department. So, that's next on my agenda. The Farmers Market was awesome. Loveditloveditlovedit. It was my first time, and I wandered up and down every aisle. I got plenty of stuff to feed myself for well over a week, and it was less than $60. Not Aldi, perhaps, but all fresh stuff, not prepacked. Except the masaman curry sauce. Can't wait to try that. Also, they had soy kefir, which I'd never tried. Wasn't bad, but took some getting used to. I like using kefir as a base for my smoothies, but didn't buy enough. Maybe I'll splurge on one of the starters someday and make my own.
Anyway, that's about it. I'm never around, but you haven't missed much. Bleh.
