Just a Reminder...

lunenoire is having surgery 2 of 2 this morning. This is the more complicated of the two, and he'll be spending the night at Crawford Long. Well-wishes and energy and whatnot appreciated.

On that note, I woke up this early this morning, because we were never really told what time the surgery was. We asked the doctor, and he said he didn't know, that the surgery department handled all that. Well, we didn't get around to asking them on Friday, and calls this weekend didn't work, since no one was there. So, I got the direct number and called at about 5:45am this morning. They said they didn't know what time his operation was, either. They said his surgery was second on the list, but the lady I talked to didn't know how long the first surgery took. *blinkblinkblink* WTF???!!!! Anyway, she said we should be there by 7:30am-8:00am. Of course, that's what they told us last time, and we got taken in an hour later than we were originally told. And that was when we were told by the people who apparently DID know something.

Ahhhh... such is the nature of surgery... *rolls eyes*

Follow-Up

Since I'm already awake, and figure I shouldn't bother going back to sleep, I thought I'd make a brief post and say that blckwngdorcl and I were able to come back together to discuss the job thing, and many positive things have occured. I'm hopeful on my good days, and fearful on my bad ones, but I think more good days are coming up.
