FIRSTS
First best friend(s): Hmmmm... there were these chicks who lived next door to me... Erin (my age) and Dawn (older), but I really remember very little about them. I suppose Stacey Workman. But really... really, now that I think about it. John Lee. *thoughtful look* I haven't thought about that in a while.
First love: John Lee
First person you had sex with: Danny (Jody) Codespoti, Jr.
First car: 1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo... bought brand new by my grandparents, rolled over the 100,000 mile mark by me, in 1995.
First real kiss: You mean with tongue? Forrest Small, who lived (temporarily) in a juvenile home. I liked bad boys, even though. (Of course now, I'm like, "What was I THINKING???")
First concert: The Carpenters. Yeah, really.
First screen name: Lngfsh. Story available upon request.
First self purchased CD: Billy Squier, Hear and Now. He's still my favorite male vocalist.
First pets: Technically, Candy, a black cocker spaniel, who was given to my grandparents after she bit me. I don't remember her at all (except seeing her at my grandparents, and she was always nice to me that I remember), but I do remember sitting in the kitchen, and a bunch of dishtowels with blood. The first pet I remember (I was there when they brought her home) was Mindy, a black schnauzer.
First piercing/tattoo: Piercing - ears... I was... ummm... like 3rd grade or something... Tattoo - phoenix symbol on my sternum
First musician you remember hearing in your house: Probably Simon and Garfunkel, and a ton of other bands I don't remember the name of... I heard "Billy Don't Be a Hero" on XM a while back, and THAT brought back memories.

You're right. You have to wait until at least 2 weeks after your last dose. If you can wait on your first dose until tomorrow night, though, and get there by 6pm, and are willing to skip the consultation (you should go later, though - Cher's cool), I'll do you before you start taking them, so you don't have to wait.

Leave me a text message and let me know, so I don't leave if you're running late - my phone doesn't have signal in the building.

My homework is done. Finally. *whew* doesn't even begin to describe it.

I'm going to make at least one personal entry here, but I wanna get something more mundane done first.

I miss you guys. A lot. And my schedule is pretty full. But, I do have the occassional free time, and I was thinking that maybe I could use that to my/our advantage. So, I was thinking that I could set aside some time on Sundays, or maybe Saturday nights.

So, here's my plan.

I want to get together with those of you I haven't seen in a while, or maybe ever. I reserve the right to say no, of course, if I've never met you, and don't really know you, of course, but for those I do, here's the idea. For the month of June (and maybe into July), I'll make available a 2-3 hour time slot on Saturday nights (from, say 6p-9p) and/or Sunday during the day (from, say 3p-6p). First come, first served, but comment here with the date, time, and place you want to meet. If someone else has already picked that time, pick something else. I can't do the weekend of June 18th, 'cause that's when my next Core classes are.

A few conditions. I'm broke now, and I can't count on that changing. My budget might allow us to meet dutch over coffee. Anything more than that, and you've offered to buy. Give me a price limit, and I'll stick to it. Meeting at your house is OK. I don't recommend meeting at mine, 'cause it's a small house with 6 people living here, so the chances of being able to actually have a good conversation with few distractions are extremely limited. Long distance visits might be an issue for me, due to the aforementioned brokeness and the gas money involved. Anything else, I'll deal with when the time comes, I guess.

Note: Some of these times may be pre-empted due to date nights with [personal profile] lunenoire. Originally, he was going to have some input on the times I posted here, but something came up, and he has been unavailable to do so. Our dates nights have been difficult to schedule. My guess is that the Saturday night times I'm offering here might be our date nights, so don't take that time unless you have to, and be prepared for it to potentially not be available.

At any rate, I look forward to it!

It has been said in my circle of friends that "honesty does not equal (full) disclosure". This has become a mantra for some, a philosophy for others, and a thought-provoking idea for even more. I never really liked the phrase, but went along with it, 'cause I couldn't place just what it was about it that rubbed me the wrong way.

The fact is, I just plain totally disagree with that statement.

YMMV )
