It's Time for Another... Useless Fact
Apr. 2nd, 2004 09:41 pm1. What is your middle name?
I don't have one. It used to be Lynn.
2. If you had been born the other sex, did your parents tell you what your name would have been?
I was never going to be the opposite sex. My parents told the adoption agency they wanted a girl, and that's what they got.
3. Do you have children and if so, what are their names?
No human children, but 6 fuzzy ones - Neg, Loki, Whimsy, Smithers, Murke, and Ashira.
4. If you were to ever have a child or more children, what would you name them?
The fuzzy ones name themselves. (Although I have a FABULOUS name picked out if I ever get a black cat.) I used to have names picked out for kids, when I was married to my first husband (we mutually picked them). If I remember correctly, they were Conan Talon and Avalon Jubilee. I don't have names picked out now, but that's the subject of another post. :)
5. Most people know their mother's maiden name, but do you know your grandmother's maiden name?
On my mother's side, Briggs. On my father's side, Richardson. (Biologically, I have no idea.)
6. Did you have an imaginary friend as a child?
I had 2 imaginary alligators, who didn't have names.
7. What was the name of your first pet?
Technically, Candy, a black cocker spaniel. Candy got sent to live with my grandparents when she proved to be the jealous type and ate my face as a baby. I have vague memories of dishtowels and lots of blood. She was followed by Taffy, a blonde cocker spaniel who died very young of a heart condition. I don't remember either of them (well, I knew Candy from at my grandparents). The first pet I remember, was Mindy, a black schnauzer.
8. What was the name of the first person you ever kissed?
Royce Rheam. I kissed him on the ear, 'cause I was hoping it would look like we were whispering to one another on the playground, so we wouldn't get in trouble. I don't remember who the first person I kissed on the lips was... Forrest Small? Jerry Albright? Hard telling...
9. What was the name of the school you attended as a child?
Madison Elementary School (1-6)
Warsaw Middle School (7-8)
Warsaw Freshman High School (1st nine weeks of 9)
McCracken Middle School (rest of 9)
Spartanburg High School (10-11)
Dwight Township High School (12)
10. What was/is the name of your English teacher(s) in high school?
WFHS (9) - I can't remember her name. Latta? She wore lots of Izod.
MMS (9) - Can't remember his name, either. Started with a B.
SHS (10) - Linda Leary. She holds me responsible for several of her gray hairs. Says so in my yearbook. :)
SHS (11) - Mrs. Orchoff Ask
logomancer about her.
DTHS (12) - Mr. Patterson first semester. Some other chick whose name I can't remember second semester.
11. Do you name your vehicles?
Always. Whinx (short for White Minx -
zydee wasn't the first!); Ice; can't remember what my black cavalier's name was; my current car is Sprite. Just for the record, I named my bikes as a child, too. :) Usually after horses, since that's what I wished they were.
