When did you start writing?
Writing what? I've written stuff off and on for years, mostly of the journal entry type, mostly off, until I found BlogSpot around 2001.
When did you move to LJ?
2003
Do you know other LJers?
Many :)
Have you ever met someone you're close with on LJ?
Not really. Usually I meet them, then friend them. Although I supposeelorie would fall into that category. I knew her before, but we didn't get close until I started reading her LJ.
Why do you use LJ as opposed to just writing in a notebook or on a computer with a hard-drive based system?
Well, I prefer the computer to pen and paper. My thoughts just flow better, and it's quicker. I use LJ as an experiment in courage. I make no private or filtered entries. It's all out there for anyone to see. This includes friends who may not be familiar with certain things about myself, total strangers, and, god forbid, my parents/family could stumble over it someday.
Do you consider yourself an "LJ Star" or "LJ Famous"?
No
Why or why not?
*shrug* To the best of my knowledge, no one is clamoring to read my LJ. I have had people friend me whom I don't know, which I find very flattering, but I certainly don't think I'm on the Top Ten list of LJers or anything like that.
How many people "read" you?
Not counting communities and duplicates, I have 66 people who have friended me.
Do you actively recruit readers?
Not really. I'll give out my LJ name, though.
Do you have a paid account?
Yes
If yes, how long have you had one?
Almost a year. It's about to expire soon.
What goes into your LJ?
Random thoughts, updates for those who care, profound thoughts, self-discovery, amusements, and quizzes.
Do you find yourself censoring what goes into your LJ?
Sadly, I sometimes do. I try really hard not to, though.
Why?
It's still hard for me to do/say something that I believe is likely to hurt someone's feelings. I work on this, though.
