I Seem to be Remembering my Dreams a Lot More Lately...

Yesterday

On another note, I finally attempted to take a ritual bath yesterday. This did NOT work out. I had gotten incense, bath salts, champagne, lit the candle on Yemanja's altar, gave her fresh rum (did the same for Osun and Sango... Sango's spilled when I put it back on the shelf; I took that to mean he didn't want it... and gave the Baron some more brandy). Even took my wand and cast a circle. It wasn't until I finally settled down into the hot water that I noticed the seal on the drain apparently wasn't in the best shape. I'd always taken showers before, so I had never actually used it previously. So, by the time I had just started getting relaxed, the water had all drained away, and I was getting cold, and not at all in a relaxed or meditative state.

::sigh::

I'll try it with our bathroom next, and maybe have better luck, but not today. Much cleaning to do.

Afterwards, I was feeling very tired, and I went to bed. I tried to meditate. I saw myself in a desert, but had trouble going much beyond that. I heard something tell me it would talk to me in my dreams, and I remember thinking to myself that that was my own copout, just wanting to go to sleep. I did, anyway, and I don't recall any dreams from that particular (6 hour) nap.
