Grounding Your Sexuality
To be grounded in your sexuality means that you are fully in your body, that is, you feel and are comfortable with your physical self and are aware of and happy with yourself as a sexual (human) being.
Many of you were not taught that your body is natural, wonderful and capable of giving you vast amounts of pleasure.
It is important that you learned that positive message.
Pleasure, including sexual pleasure is our biological and spiritual birthright.

Any holding of the body causes energy to slow down or stagnate causing blocked feelings.
To find pleasure and joy in your life you must reclaim your CORE state which is spontaneous, expansive and loving. Your body is the best indicator of how you truly are. How do you feel on a scale of 1 to 10? (10 being fully alive and 1, nearly dead).
Core Energetics teaches that pleasure is your natural state and your birthright.
To get to pleasure you must work with your body to unblock your defense patterns.
Core Energetics works to help you release holding patterns which are the defenses against childhood wounding. These wounds caused pain that you thought you must block out. You then held them in your body by holding your breath and tensing your muscles.
You can not feel pleasure while holding breathing and spontaneous movement.
By blocking the painful feelings you also block the pleasurable ones.
