dominant - Everyone says that! I wonder if they know something I don't... I consider myself submissive.

logical - Actually, I'm more intuitive. However, I am the QUEEN of rationalization, so if you were to hear me talking about something I intuited, it would SOUND like it was a logical decision. :)

social - I totally am, once you get me out of the house. Even on days I have the time, though, I need persuading. ;)

sophisticated - I'm so glad to hear you say that! When I was younger, I was VERY good at playing the ditz, so much so that I forgot that I wasn't one. I've been working hard at NOT being ditzy anymore, and it must be paying off. Thank you!

Starting over. I have only "met" you once at a party, but it didn't take me long to decide what to say. Don't think you are easy to read, you are quite the opposite, but I think I have it here. Because I don't really know you, I will give my reasons. (hopefully not to lose it this time). 1. Dominant. You can be very dominant, however this side of you is for the precious few who have earned the right to be intimate with you. You do not give this side of yourself for the sake to giving it. Your heart must be involved as well. 2. Very Intuitive. Very smart and you know how to read people. You know to trust your gut instinct. 3. Social. You can be the life of the party, but you have the good grace to allow the spotlight on someone else if need be. Always polite and gracious at a gathering. 4. Kinky. You are a WOMAN...not afraid of your sensuality in any way. You may occasionally take a submissive position during sex, but only if you want to, not because someone does. Such positions can increase the intensity of your climax and you know it. Your partner knows that at all times you have the upper hand. Agian, you know what you like, and you are not afraid to ask for it. No weak or shy lover for you. He\she must be confident and skilled. 5. Sophisticated. Everyone who's not been in a BDSM relationship with me, or heard me talk about it, always says this. I don't consider myself a dominant at all. Sexually, in that type of scene, I'm very much the submissive. However, I very much grok that mindset, and I think I could dominate a woman, in the right circumstances. Probably exactly the circumstances you describe, in fact. In my non-sexual life, however, I am definitely the dominant. I have to hold myself back often from pushing people aside and just getting shit DONE when they're wallowing in the petty details. I also like being in charge in a work situation.

Interesting, because my husband (except in rare shining moments) does not match the description of the lover you envision. With someone who IS confident in bed, I most definitely shine in that department. I love taking the submissive role... but we all know the submissive is really in charge. ;)

:) Not letting people pet me is a part of my personality I'm just starting to recognize. I used to be not-so-choosy about my lovers, just wanting the attention. Now, I'm realizing I have much more... er... sopisticated tastes.

Loooooooove satin, and any other sensuous tactile experience. I always had satin sheets before blckwngdorcl came along. He prefers knit, so we compromised on boring ole cotton. High thread count at least, though. ;)

I am, really. But, like many strong leaders, I'm afraid of my power. I use my power, intuition, and training in psychology to lead from behind, as it were. I let those I'm leading come up with the solution I'm guiding them towards, so I don't have to be in the limelight.

I'm talkative if you get me on a roll, and I can certainly be chatty at the drop of a hat. However, when it comes to important things, I am pretty quiet. I'll mull things over for a long time before I bring something up. And I'm not sure I beat around the bush or not. I know I tend to couch messages that might not be so pretty, or well-received, in very careful words. I fly off the handle every once in a while, but that's a very rare thing for me.
