I do not live in fear of sin and hell because I know I am saved. I do not care for the Lutheran church and find fault in some of the things they do. They do not follow scripture, which could be why things were never good for you there and you didn't find salvation. God will not take away my salvation- that's where you have misunderstood the Bible. I can turn my back on my salvation and leave it and perhaps lose it then, but I am not going to lose my salvation. I do not worry about this. This was finished at the cross and when I truly accepted Christ. I won't turn my back on my faith and besides I am already doing what I asked you to do. I am reading your journal and trying to learn where you're coming from. There is nothing to grasp though. It seems void in this self proclaimed religion. The Bible is all about balance. It appears that you have judged me and the Bible without proper understanding. I do not understand what you mean by being confirmed in the Lutheran church either. Is this like the Catholic thing? This is so foreign and is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. Try a Baptist church. I don't go to a Baptist church now, but was raised Baptist. I go to First Christian Church of LaGrange. Have you tried a different denomination? I went to a Lutheran church here when Lee and I were looking for a church that we both liked and I talked with the pastor for a long time. I had many problems with what they did and she said that I had some really good points. I don't believe in infant baptism. We are given a choice and that's the way it should be. Just because you were sprinkled with some water does not mean anything. Well, I am going to go. I don't know what else to say and my phone keeps ringing. Don't sell yourself short on this one. Let the Word come into your ears and see if the Spirit moves you to repent and follow the Lord. You have read without the help of the Holy Spirit and do not have the understanding that will come upon you when He enters your heart. Go with an open heart and with an open mind if you go. God Bless.
