Useless and Pointless Update
Apr. 22nd, 2004 10:32 pmOK... the second level of the house is clean. Finally. Which leaves this level, to which I say, Fuck It. I'm no longer in the mood. Starting to get a headache in both the literal and figurative sense. Which isn't to say that I'd turn down sex, mind you. I might go ahead and clean the laundry room. That's actually pathetically easy to do, especially since I changed out the cat litter yesterday, so that part doesn't need to be done. Then, if I'm lucky, maybe I'll have some momentum worked up to do the office. Who knows.
blckwngdorcl should be home from work soon, and on his way home, which is always a good thing. My direct deposit goes in tonight at midnight (give or take, depending on the whim of the bank), so if he's up for it, we'll do Waffle House or something. The sheer physicality of the work has him coming home with the same limp and dejected look I think I had when I worked at Mariner. Poor thing. Not sure how long it'll take his body to adjust. Mine never really did, 'cause I only worked 3 days a week, but with him working 5... anyway, I hope it doesn't kick his ass for long. From what I understand, it's BECAUSE of the nature of the work that they only do 4 hour shifts for that position.
Aha! He is on the phone with me, as we speak. He just got off. And he's drinking lots of water! This pleases me no end. :) He hears me typing. ;)
Anyway, on to the test I ganked from the currently despondent (but *I* love him, anyway, whether he likes it or not!)
bulwerk.

Take the What High School
Stereotype Are You? quiz.
Maybe I answered this one with too much hindsight. I was really more the Outsider in high school. The weird kind of outsider that very few people actively disliked. I could strike up a conversation with just about any of the social groups in school, and it wasn't a big deal, but I wasn't really a part of any of those groups. I pretty much hung out with the other people in the same boat.

Date: 2004-04-22 07:37 pm (UTC)It's a hard job, but I personally think it's worth it...and as he gets more seniority it'll get easier, cause he'll learn more stuff, and get to do some of the cake jobs.
