Interesting... doesn't show as drastic a decrease as what I've found when looking at those Apartment/Real Estate Finders from the area. Certainly the restaurant we went to was cheaper than I'm used to in Atlanta. It all comes out in the wash, I suppose. :)

If you look below the result, you see how it all comes out, really. They list everything from home costs to utilities to doctor appointments, etc. When I looked at some other states (I'm looking to move next year after my car is paid off), I noticed that while some costs went down, others went up...for example, doctor visits increased, but dentist visits decreased. Some of those items listed may be costs that someone visiting the city wouldn't incur, but residents would find out about them eventually.
