bookofmirrorsStayed after work today to do the laser thing. I did the front of my lower legs and my feet myself. Donna did the backs of my legs - all this on the Candela, which, for me, hurts more than the Cynosures did. *shrug* I could sleep through the Cynosure on my legs. This is way tolerable, though, and I took a couple of breaks when I needed to, and went slower when I needed to.
Donna treated my bikini on the Aesthera, which, even at the same setting, was actually painful in some places; clearly places where the remaining hair is densest, which is as it should be, but I totally couldn't feel the laser at ALL last time. I am now a firm believer in what my clients have told me all along - it hurts more when you're on your period. Even so, it was waywaywayway tolerable, and NOTHING like the agony I went through on the Cynosure.
But, it's done, and it makes me happy. My legs will go smooth indefinitely again, which is nice. I'm also wondering if the laser will have some (good, I hope) effect on what little rash remains on my legs. I'm hoping it'll fry it. That would rock.
My bikini, sadly, will continue to fall out in patches, until it's gone. Such is the nature of the Aesthera - I sacrificed the smooth period for the lack of pain. I'm still WAY good with that decision.
Pretty much, other than the back of my neck, which I've only ever had treated once, anyway, I'm done with lasering everything but these two areas. Given what's left on my legs, I'd say I have 2 more treatments left. I'd say at least 3 on my bikini, though. Figures that the area I want treated the most had to be the most painful (on the Cynosure, anyway) AND the most stubborn.
Anyway, waiting for the Blonde Beastie to come pick me up. The original plan had been for me to do the Barnes and Noble thing after work, and him come get me from there, but it's so late now that I might as well wait for him here.
His robe came in today. I'd link to it, but without all my handy-dandy Opera tags up, it's a pain in the ass. Besides, I get it at cost, and you don't EVEN wanna know the markup on the fucker. Let's just say it's more than double. Another of the lovely Sedona perks that I got to keep by working on Saturdays. Not to mention finishing my treatments.
I just realized that the signal in here sucks, so I should probably wait for him outside, in case he's been trying to call me.
