OK, I suppose I should be allsortsa outraged, but I'm just too much in shock... still in the wide-eyed-shaking-my-head stage...

So, I had just finished watching a DVR recording, and it happened to be on Spike channel (ST:TNG earlier), and I caught a quick snippet of The Man Show. I don't know if it was a first run, or a re-run... but they had a couple of guys from the show out in some public place, with a table, American flags, the usual setup, to sign a petition

...to stop women's suffrage

And many people were signing it, mostly women.

A few people got it, and were not amused.

Really, I'm not pissed off at the show, as much as I am appalled at those who were so clueless and sheeplike as to sign it.

People are dumb...Penn & Teller's Bullshit had an episode had people signing a petition to stop the distribution of dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) hundreds signed it.

I believe that was the point of the skit. As above said, Penn and Teller did similar stuff, including the ending women's suffrage thing. Welcome to the world of rampant stupidity, which has also made niggardly a word denoting racism, instead of being a misor.
