Orthopedic Doctor
Feb. 3rd, 2006 04:22 pmOK, I just found out my foot is broken, and I'm probably going to have to have surgery. I used to work for Paul Spiegl, who is one of the top 10 orthopedic surgeons in the country, but it would seem my insurance doesn't cover him. So far, it's looking like I'll need to do Resurgens. Anyone have any input on particular doctors there, good/bad/indifferent? Or any other doctors you recommend? (I can check insurance later.)

Date: 2006-02-03 11:05 pm (UTC)Secondly, I have and always will recommend Dr. Jeffrey Wener. He is an awesome orthopedic doctor and just generally terrific all around. He removed the ganglion cyst from my wrist a number of years ago, and he helped me with both plantar fasciitis in my feet and chondromalacia in my knees. If I ever broke a bone, I'd call him immediately. So if the Resurgens docs don't work out, you might try him. If you need his number, call me at work on Monday. I've got it in my work rolodex.
Thirdly, thanks for the advance debt payment. Your thoughtfulness allowed us to purchase a new pair of lenses for
Good luck! If you need anything, let me know. Having a broken foot is TOTALLY the suck.
