Usual rules... comment if you want me to ask you questions.
1. Without a disclaimer of any kind, who do you envy most and why?
Hmmmm... assuming I can't choose my cats... Well, there's a non-specific answer which would be the child/ren of any of my online friends who do the attachment parenting/Alfie Kohn thing. If I had to pick a specific adult... probably my therapist/teacher. She's in her 60's, gotten her schooling (and lots of it out of the way), lived a fabulously interesting life, has worked her ass off to get there, and has the results to show for it. Plus, she's a lot farther down the road in her self-growth path, and even though she still feels the pains of daily life, she's much better at coping with them, and isn't nearly as resistant as I am. Plus she's thin and wears fabulous clothes. :)
2. You are given the superpower of your choice. What is it?
Telepathy, for all beings with sentience. I'm including things like all animal forms down to viruses and such, all plant forms, and all mineral forms, and big things like the Earth itself. Undetectable and controllable on my part. No one knows I'm doing it, unless we're holding a conversation, or I tell them, and I don't get bombarded by unwanted thoughts unless I open up to that.
3. How many is too many?
Drinks? Cats? Kids? Amputations? In any case, I would say as soon as it becomes a compulsion, or causes harm, minus 1.
4. If money were no object what would you want to do for an occupation (or would you do nothing instead)?
Animal communication/shamanism... probably with all sorts of skills thrown into that... for instance, I could take all sorts of classes that would work with that goal... TTellington TTouch, Reiki/Seichem, Barbara Brennan, etc., etc..
5. What one event from your life would you undo /erase if you could? You can't change it for the better, you an only make it go away. No disclaimers about how everything has made you who you are / brought you to where you are now, just hit the big red history eraser button!
You know me too well, with all this "no-disclaimer" thing... Evil Mikey!
If I could undo any action that ever took me off a cash-only system. In this case, that would be getting my first checkbook. Ideally, this "erase" would come because I had some sense that doing anything else other than cash would fuck me over big time later, and would also include me refusing later things of the same ilk, like credit cards, etc..
