Well, I got up and went to work today, driven by the lovely [personal profile] lunenoire. We stopped and had some Starbucks on the way, which was nice.

Work went unbelievably well, especially considering we had one laser down all day, and other down part of the day. The owner discussed with me briefly the possibility of changing my schedule so that I consistently have 2 days off in a row; she's concerned about how often I'm calling in sick. So am I, and she's right that it's because I don't have enough recharge time. I scribbled down some things on paper which I'll present to her later, since I didn't have a chance to today; plus, I'm taking a lot of Saturdays "off" (read as, not working the overtime) in September, and in October, so I wouldn't likely be able to change my schedule until November. But I'm gonna look into it. If the schedule I'm planning on proposing pans out, it would actually give me *three* days in a row off and still work 40 hour weeks! *crossing fingers and asking for good energy towards that type of outcome*

So, anyway, for the past several weeks, even though we close at 4pm on Saturday, I've been getting out at closer to 6pm, so I told [personal profile] lunenoire to go say hello to [profile] keiracaitlyn for her birthday bowling thing, then come get me, which would put them there around 5pm. But we actually got out on time this week. Early, in fact. So, I had a co-worker drive me to Barnes and Noble, where I sipped a frappucino and read a book I was in the middle of. I finished it, which was cool, and much enjoyed it. It also allowed my husbands to bowl one game, since they no longer had to be in a rush to get me. Of course, I'm jealous that they got to see [profile] keiracaitlyn, [profile] toguspyder, [profile] spy_isis, and they got to meet [profile] savage_rose, whom I've never met in person (they said she seemed cool). So, yeah, jealous, but I had a good time at the bookstore.

I seemed unnaturally "awake" when I was there. I was tied in to everyone I briefly contacted. I'd look up from my book to flick my eyes over people, and got an instant sense of them. I was tingly all over, most of the time. In contact with my energy, my magic, in a way I haven't been in... in I don't remember when. Strangely enough, though, when I went to check out my third eye, I could feel it vibrating, but it felt firmly closed. I could pry it open for brief seconds, but it shut right down again. This, by the way, is the most I've been able to do with it... again, in I don't remember when. So it was kinda cool. I was even able to do something pretty darn close to grounding and relaxing. I *definitely* haven't been able to do *that* in a while, even when I've tried really hard. So that was good. Nice to know I haven't lost it. Oddly enough, I think part of it stems from having a really good talk with [profile] gaeasson online the other day. Talking to him generally ends up with me tapped into my wisdom, so I was reminded Who I Am for a while.

I am SO looking forward to September. I've pretty much said I'm not working Saturdays, for the most part. I have a process group for Core, Pam comes back from vacation, and module one starts. I'm also modifying (as opposed to leaving, which was the original plan) my Monday/Friday job. Instead of assisting my client to eat, bathe, and eliminate, the plan is to only do the bowel program, then go to my other client. This will mean that on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I'll go from Sona, to client 2, to client 1, but I'll still have Monday and Friday nights free again. So, I'm looking very much forward to September... less than a week away! Part of me wants to dive fast hard and deep back into the pagan social scene. Part of me wants to just stop for a month, rest, meditate, take some major alone ME time. This, of course, is what I NEED to do, I'll just have to convince myself to DO it, since I really crave the company of my friends again. Maybe September for me, October for friends.

Anyway, I just wanted to note that I can feel changes coming in the air, and good ones. I seem to be priming myself for it. Perhaps I'm feeling the upcoming changing energy of Jupiter moving into Scorpio, which is supposed to bode very well for anyone with Scorpio as a sun or rising sign. It should be a banner year for Etherium, since [personal profile] lunenoire has a Scorpio sun, and both [personal profile] blckwngdorcl and I have a Scorpio ascendant.

I'm physically tired (and will probably go to bed shortly after making this post and doing some more computer-y stuff), but I feel more magical and energetic and tuned in than I have in a long long time.

And that makes me way happy. :)
