Shoot Me Now
Aug. 5th, 2005 04:18 amMy head is killing me. I came home from work early (unrelated to my head hurting), had lunch with the blonde beastie, and crawled into bed to read, which quickly turned into a nap. I was woken up to go to my client's, and noticed shortly after becoming upright I had a helluva headache and just felt altogether wonky. I called off, and went straight back to bed.
I woke up once, during a storm that made the trees outside our balcony dance maniacally, and our power cycle off and on about 10 times while I was awake to notice. I asked if it had been storming for a while, because I had woken up in the middle of a dream about a storm coming, but apparently, it had just started. My head, incidentally, was worse.
I went back to sleep, until the blonde beastie came to bed. He woke me up enough for me to notice that my head was even WORSE, and he reminded me there were such things as painkillers (I try not to take them), and I downed several, which appear to not be working. My head is killing me in that I can't sleep and I'm just going to lie here and writhe in pain and moan softly soft of way. So, I got up, hoping to spare him having that next to him, and maybe benefit from being upright instead of lying down. This is only marginally working, and I find the computer screen entirely too bright. Maybe I have a migraine. I keep hearing people talk about what they feel like, and this might be it. I have no idea. I've wondered sometimes if certain headaches I have are migraines.
*sigh* This had better be gone by the time I need to go to work, 'cause it's certainly debilitating enough that I wouldn't be able to work during it. Just the thought of the flash of the laser is making my head hurt.
I'm gonna see if I'm up to eating something. Maybe I'm just hungry...
And then maybe I can sleep.
P.S. My paid account expires in about a week. During which time I have no money. Maybe the LJ fairy will come.
