House Stuff

I am much pleased with the progress we made on the house today. It wasn't coherent by any means. As in, we didn't start in one room and finish it off. More like we flitted about doing different things, and each room has substantially more floor. Well, except for the kitchen, which has less, since we set up the table. But y'know... table.

Some of the stuff is temporary, until we get new furniture (likely sometime in the next century, at this rate... did I mention the install and whatnot for cable/internet is gonna be over $300???), so it's not quite perfect, but, like I said, probably more permanent than I'd like.

We went to the office today to get the following dealt with:

Wasp/hornet nests on the balcony
Wasp/hornet nests on the retaining wall outside the front door
No hot water in the guest bathroom
Dryer vent needs cleaning out
blckwngdorcl's mailbox key needs replaced
Needed the code for the pool/gym
Asked (but still need the answer) to, if we buy ceiling lamp/fans for the bedrooms, will the maintenance guys install them (as in, are we allowed to have them at all?) (reference above note on current lack of finances)

Pictures were hung, light bulbs were changed, dinner was cooked, tables were assembled, CDs were arranged (mostly), boxes were unpacked, and various other sundries were achieved.

In other words, I'm in a very pleasant mood today, in much contrast to my nobody-likes-me-everybody-hates-me-think-I'll-go-eat-worms day yesterday. Which, for syllabic savings, will henceforth be referred to as a Worms Day.

I took Murke outside for a little while today, but not too long, 'cause it was hot. I promised him I'd take him out more later, which I'll do after dinner, which should be any minute now.

So, in light of that, I'm outta here! :)

I never buy the condoms... I'm pretty picky about who I sleep with. If I think for a second that I NEED a condom to fuck you, I won't come near you if you wear 10. I prefer to find someone I'd comfortably bareback, and then use a condom anyway. But I usually let them pick what kind.

No. I rarely speak coherent words during sex, and I'm not real big on using anyone's name in general, especially then.
