Just Killing a Little Time...
Feb. 15th, 2005 06:56 amI don't think I posted about this earlier, but when we moved my computer back across the office, and rearranged everything, and finally got it plugged back in...
Upon booting up, it promptly made a popping noise, followed by the smell of the magic smoke escaping.
*sigh*
Shortly thereafter, after ignoring my attempts to turn it back on, it spontaneously booted - I could hear it running, but nothing was coming up on the monitor except the usual monitor self-test.
So, I'm on the husband's computer indefinitely.
Oh, and they won't let LPNs be charge nurse. Hey, it was worth a shot!
And I had a fabulous Valentine's Day yesterday. :)

I think I just need to bite the bullet and buy a new prefab machine from one of the monster corporations. This is happening way too often.
