Well, today was to be my day of languishing on the internet. After I cleaned the house. And, since I woke up spontaneously at the ungodly hour of 3:30am, the house was done well before 10am. (Except for the floors... but those weren't mine to do, anyway). And except for the bathroom... and our bedroom. But you get the idea. A pleasant distraction in bed as my pretty woke up, followed by cleaning the bathroom, a shower, breakfast at OHOP, and some shopping got me home sometime in the mid to late afternoon. After that, in a mad frenzy to have EVERYTHING done before I got on the 'net, I cleaned the bedroom. Others were setting up my computer for me, anyway, since there'd been a lot of rearranging of the house, and the computers and such needed to be set up again. (Hence the shopping trip - cat5 and surge protectors.) Anyway, I was able to spend about 15 minutes on the computer before dinner was served, and after dinner I became a computer whore, for the first time I was able to in WEEKS. Of course, it's now almost midnight, and I have to work tomorrow. After having had, at one time, 18 windows open that I needed to deal with, I have finished checking email at all my email addresses, and have caught up all (3 of) my webcomics. LiveJournal, however, is still about a week behind, save for me having checked the day of my birthday to see if anyone wished me a happy birthday or not. (Thanks to all who did!)
So, I am about to be away from the computer for a while again. However, since now me and the other half of the aforementioned pleasant distraction have computers (thank you!) of our own again, I should be able to keep up the email and webcomics, and hopefully work on catching up LJ over the week, too. Plus do my homework for Core, which needs doing badly.
Anyway, that's where I'm at. My days are ridiculously busy. Between work and transportation issues, I'm away from home from about 8am-10:30pm every weekday. The last 2 weekends have been busy in a good way, and I'm hoping that next weekend might actually bring about some me time, preferably in the form of long, meaningful LJ entries. Until then, you're all in my thoughts, even if I don't have time for you to be anywhere else!
