OK, About This Thing...

There's this thing going around LJ, the Johari thing, I think it is? I haven't done it, for myself, or anyone else, and I'll tell you why.

Right now, I'm just a big ole coward. While I'm intensely interested in what others think about me, especially in light of what I think about me lately, I'm soooo not interested in potentially starting a confrontation with others. This is partially due to my somewhat fragile state of late, and partially due to a dream I had a few nights ago, where I told a friend of mine what I REALLY thought of said friend, which should have been no surprise, especially when said friend "secretly" feels the same way about me, and said friend burst into tears as if said friend's heart would break. And I can't tell from the site if the people you comment on know what comment was made by whom.

So, here's the deal. If those of you who have done it can assure me that all comments are anonymous, I'll be happy to do it for you. And I'll eventually put up my own. If not... then I'm bowing out. If that is the case, comment below and let me know, and also let me know if you want me to do yours, 'cause I'm not going back through my friends list to remember who's posted it.

It has a space for a name but you don't have to put something people recognize. You can put anonymous.

And the Joharithing really avoids anything negative. I think the worse it gets is "self conscious". Anf well hell, who isn't?

I'd ask that you not do mine anonymous. Hon, I think the problem is that you seem to have friends who can't be honest with eachother. The solution is better friends, not a complete lack of communication. This is just a silly, fun meme. It's a shame it's stressing you out.
