OK, I know I never post, but I just have to say a few things:

Having your bikini area lasered SUCKS big time... of course, I'm an idiot, and insisted it be done ridiculously thoroughly, thereby prolonging my pain.

I got less than halfway through before crying uncle and asking for a topical anesthetic.

Even with it on, I was still jumping and screaming now and again.

*hangs head*

walkingbear would be so ashamed...

(As a side note, let me tell you that using the bathroom while your cunt is completely numb is an experience to behold....)

ouch, was considering it, but not now! Thanks for the warning! The things we women will put ourselves through. The hair removal is permenent though? If it only ever has to be done once, maybe, maybe I will be brave enough.

It is permanent, and it has to be done 5 times. It sucks beyond sucking, but as far as I'm concerned, it's worth it, for a grand total of less than 2 hours of pain (it takes about 20 minutes, and not ALL of the time is excruciating), I get to be hair-free forever.

The fucked up part is, my clients don't jump around NEARLY as much as I did, so maybe for others it's not as bad. *shrug* Most people think underarms are the WORST, and that bikini is not as painful as those, but I didn't feel a thing on my underarms. Go figure.

How much does it cost total? I'd do it in a heartbeat. Does the procedure have a special name? And will I be able to find someone who does it in a city where I can't even find arugula?

For full bikini it's $1175, but there's some sort of 20% discount, and another 10% if you drop my name for a referral, so it turns out to be like $875.

For clarification, full bikini is anything up to and including the ENTIRE bikini area, including the "happy trail" down the abdomen, and the anal area. Whatever you want left there, we leave, and if you want it all gone, we'll do that, too.

It takes 5 treatments for everything to go away, and the cost I mentioned above covers all 5. The topical anesthetic I mentioned is an additional $50, but it should last through all five treatments.

Alternatively, instead of the 20%/10% thing I mentioned above, you could do a BOGO (buy one get one) of bikini/underarms for the full price. That's the current special, although I don't know how long that lasts. There are always specials, though.

I don't know if there's a Sona near you, but seriously, after having worked here for a while, and talking with clients who've been other places, and being privy to the inside information on the latest research on laser hair removal, Sona is DEFINITELY the place you want to go to have it done, whether it's here or near you.
