I was at work the other night, talking to this other chick about her other job, working for the county. Somewhere during all this, I came to the realization that, as a nurse, I have a pretty kickass, and fairly unique opportunity. I can pretty much pick and choose jobs. And, having worked for the State of Illinois for 7 years, I know that having a government job is a good thing indeed. So, I went traipsing about in the phone book and found several job lines for city/county/federal jobs. It's in the blue pages. Take a look. Also, several of the phone numbers give you websites to check out. I'm adding them here, so everyone can take advantage.
