I'm all for helping animals and whatnot, but I guess I don't get the point. Other than "hey, we have a lot of voters with pets" is there a specific agenda? Like, more money for shelters, harsher penalties for animal abusers?

Just seems like unless there's a specific message they're trying to get across, this isn't going to do a huge amount of good. *shrug* To each their own I guess.
